St Andrews & Ceilidh Dates

Oh what a day we had of it, all we had to do was get myself, Lewis and Ben (our awesome manager) to the St Andrews Beanscene by 8:30pm to play a lovely show for all the very nice people there, could we do that? could we bum-hole!
First off we had to pick up the majority of the PA from the Shawlands Beanscene, no great problem it's just down the road from me. However by the time Ben and I had dealt with the day's work calling venues etc it was passed 6pm. Running late already. To make matters worse Lewis called to tell us that he was on the bus down from Inverness and it was running late. With a flash of inspiration I tell him to get off the bus at Perth and we can pick him up before going to St Andrews.
We left Glasgow at around 6:30pm and we were aiming to get to St Andrews for 8:30, it's ok it's only a 2 hour journey and picking Lewis up will only add around 15 minutes to the trip. We were going to be 15 minutes late for the gig. No big deal, right?
Two wrong turns at and after the round-a-bout before Perth and the fact you can't do a U turn on the motorway meant we ended up driving 15 miles in the wrong direction, Mother of Pearl! When we eventually got in the correct lane to go back to Perth and pick up Lewis it was well passed 8:30. We finally arrived at 9:30, one hour late.
Fortunately the place was still very busy and we managed to blast out a good old Piano/Snare Drum set before falling over in a heap.

If you like your Ceilidh music be sure to come on down, we might even throw in a cheeky YB number or two.

Cheers to everyone who came along to the Hive gig last night it was awesome fun. Lots more gigs coming up including this friday at O'Henrys with our mates "Washington Irving".

We’re doing some good ald Scottish ceilidhs to raise money for the tour. Already we’ve booked one in Fort William, home of our very own Jonathan. It’s on the 7th June. We’ll get more booked soon.
Tonight we’re playing the beanscene in Ayr if your up for it.
