Fun at the Barfly

McGarvey was right when he said that the Barfly (Glasgow) has a warm stage, I was roasted to a crisp from the heat of the lights and I was only wearing tee shirt and jeans. God only knows how the boyz from Ampersand felt in their trenchcoats n jackets n all that jet-black hair. On the upside however it all made for very enjoyable sweaty fun for all the family.

Thanks to all the bands who played alongside us, (
The Breakers, The Fire and I & Ampersand) to Hooligan for the free CD that I’m listening to now and to everyone who popped down to see us, twas fun.

After dropping off my piano, stand, case and stool at home Chris, Bruce and myself consumed some rather rank booze and headed back in to join the rest of the band for some post gig gaiety. The photos that follow convey a taste of the gig night in all its drunken glory. Enjoy.

It's Barfly Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Saturday, you'll be going out for some drinking/dancing/merrymaking yeah?

Well then, why not come on down to the lustrous Barfly Glasgow for some light refreshment, live music (featuring Yellow Bentines) and a bit of a dance (or a lot of a dance depending on your level of drunkenness).

Oh go on!
