What!

Hey,

What have we been doing? Well I'll tell you.

On Saturday I was going to play Solfest myself since no one else could make it (work, brass band competitions, you know the usual excuses) but our wandering bassist Jonny D was in town (Glasgow) so the two of us went to Cumbria and it was fucking Magic. We drove down in my old polo and got there in about two and a half hours not bad time I think. The festival itself was great, I wasn't expecting everyone to be dressed up - pretty much everyone was, I saw at least five jokers form the batman film the dark knight, I bet they thought that they were going to be the only one. hmmm yes. We played a 50 minute piano and bass set and because of the way the stages were running chaz and dave had to wait till we were finished. Afterward I heard them play Wallop! - "Jizzworthy" - JD wasn't impressed.

***Sunday was a sad day. Sorry we didn't make it to Greenbelt.***

On Tuesday we got in the van and headed down to Bristol for a gig, that's a long was to go for a gig. It doesn't help when the fucking van brakes down. Ach. After the call out jimmy had fixed the water tube we were seriously late, we did however make it to the gig at 10pm and played a blinder, cheers to those who were there and clapped and meant it.

On Wednesday we played London. The biggest problem with this was we couldn't leave the van anywhere as it was to tall for the car parks which were going to charge us £12 to leave it there for the day. Pay and display was £25 FUCK that! we're a super skint band remember. After sitting on double yellow lines and getting moved on all day it was finally time to play and DAMN it was worth the wait. The gig was Freaking awesome. Apart from the parking and shiz London is an awesome place. Aww yeah, aww yeah! I payed Boris by text. (congestion charge)

Barfly gig cancelled, Barfly gig.

Our Barfly gig on Friday the 5th September has been cancelled, but never fear we've got another. Saturday 11th October. Trading a Friday for a Saturday is no bad thing in my experience.

So it's

Glasgow Barfly, Saturday 11th October

Peace out.

Oh and Lewis, I'll record the guide vocals tomorrow. xx
